1. When did Mind Tap Studios started?

As early as 1997 Mind Tap Studios already existed as a graphic design studio established by Benedicto Modesto. The studio eventually was incorporated on 2007 to fully realize its  vision to be an animation firm that creates homegrown, all original  animated features.

The studio’s prime movers are composed of respected and seasoned practitioners in 2D animation, 3D animation, Painting and Multimedia, Advertising and PR. It also enjoys  support of colleagues in the web/internet industry, film, television, IT and the academe.

2. What are the core competencies of the studio?

The studio is equipped and professionally capable of handling 3D and 2D animated projects for film, commercials, TV series and mobile content. Mind Tap Studios is one of the few Philippine-based animation outfits that do character 3D animation .

It’s key personnel have had on their individual credits Hollywood and international animated film stints and the studio come fully equipped for its own  army of writers, animators, visual artists, sound engineer and info tech officers.

3. What type of animated projects do you accept?

We are open to outsourced production for both 3D and  2D animation as well as  co-production set up with Indie film makers both locally and internationally.

We also accept conversions of animated films to mobile content as well as its distribution via mobile in the international market.

4. Do you accept interns in your studio?

Yes to students or enthusiasts that are really serious in learning the ropes of doing animated features.

5. Do you accept freelance animators?

Our regular animators are dedicated in the production of  Mobytoons and other studio projects.  A need for freelance animators arise from time to time to accommodate special projects.
